Digital Dentistry

We use state-of-the-art digital dental technology to ensure that all of your dental work is done with a level of precision that traditional techniques cannot match.

In addition to enhanced precision, digital dentistry at The Dental Boutique is less invasive and more efficient, with procedures such as crowns, veneers, and onlays completed in just one visit. The digital dental services offered by the Dental Boutique include:

CAD/CAM – Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) are innovative technologies that allow dentists, like Dr. Huerta, to design customized restorative dental treatments digitally, with improved accuracy and less time spent in the dentist’s chair.

Primescan • Cerec Mill • 3D Printing

  • Primescan – a digital video program that maps your mouth to replace traditional impressions used for crowns, bridges, night guards, aligners, and more. It’s much more precise and versatile. Restorations are planned and adjusted in real-time ensuring the highest detail and quality.

  • Cerec Mill – same-day crowns, veneers, onlays, and other restorations.

  • 3D Printing – same-day night guards for TMJ disorders and other physical oral issues as well as faster processing of aligners (click to clear aligner page). 3-D printing is used to print surgical guides for precise implant placement.

Digital X-Rays – The Dental Boutique utilizes the advanced technology of digital x-rays to ensure that your teeth are healthy from root to crown. The advancement of digital imaging enables Dr. Huerta to see the whole picture and provide patients with more accurate diagnoses with less discomfort than traditional x-ray imaging.

2D X-Ray • CBCT • 3D Software

  • 2D X-Rays greatly reduce radiation, in fact, a full series of x-rays expose you to less radiation than a flight to the west coast.  Digital x-rays allow for a more accurate diagnosis of decay and bone loss than traditional x-rays.

  • CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) x-rays allow structures to be seen in 3D.  These are useful in viewing more structures in the head and neck for a more thorough diagnosis, in planning implant placement, and in root canal treatment.

  • 3D Software can mesh intraoral video images with x-ray images to plan proper implant placement.

“The staff is friendly, Dr. Carlos J. Huerta is warm and inviting, and Esma A. is just solid all around.

The space is clean, the art is modern, and the decor is a mix of rustic-industrial-chic. They even have my genre of music cued up and ready to play whenever I’m scheduled for an appointment.

The whole place is just vibes.”
